There is a certain peace that comes with meditation. It doesn’t always hit you right away how much it affects you, but in time you realize that the world seems to slow down as you slow down for just a brief moment. You can feel the subtle differences in the air, the feel of the fabric on your skin, whether or not your body is rested. These are all important but somewhere along the way we forgot to check back with ourselves and just do something as simple as breathing. There is life there.
